Mohamed Ebeid, PhD Practicum Student in Clinical Psychology
I am a Ph.D. practicum student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa. I provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services to children, adolescents, families, and adults in English, under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Moore.
My areas of interest include mood, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and emotion regulation, as well as behavioural difficulties and neurodevelopmental concerns (e.g., ASD, giftedness, learning disabilities). I use an empathetic and strength-based approach with my clients to best serve their needs.
I am also currently working at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Psychological Services and Research (CPSR). My doctoral research centers around understanding how individuals with social anxiety interpret figurative language.
