Erin Copeland
B.A Psych (Hons.) MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I am a qualifying psychotherapist and I specialize in treating adolescents (12+) and adults with a variety of concerns including anxiety (e.g. worry, social anxiety, panic), depression, relationship and family difficulties, workplace and school related stress, and grief. Having worked as an essential care worker, I take a special interest in helping adults who are suffering from burnout and would like to begin the process of moving forward.
Therapy should be a collaboration that empowers you, so I use a flexible approach drawing from a variety of evidence based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy(CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy(DBT), and Mindfulness based interventions, in a way that works for where you are.
Starting a path to therapy can seem daunting and increase feelings of vulnerability. But that point is one where I believe you can begin to focus on your strength and see unfolding opportunities for growth and finding true meaning. I am glad you have reached this point, and we can work together to find this space for you to flourish. My practice is supervised by Dr. Rebecca Moore. In person or online therapy available
