Jeffery Keill
M.A., Registered Psychotherapist
Every client comes to therapy with a unique set of skills and needs. A holistic and empathetic approach is imperative to my work with clients, and I believe that it is through this approach that I can empower my clients to make positive changes and achieve their goals. My theoretical orientation is integrative, person-centred, and combines techniques from Psychoanalytic, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioural, Schema, Solutions Focused, and Strength Based Therapies.
My goal is to help my clients develop a greater awareness of themselves and their internal processes as a means of understanding their past and influencing their futures. I believe in developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients so that they can develop trust and confidence in their therapeutic journey. Everyone has the ability to make positive changes in their lives and I am here to support my clients as they face this challenge head-on.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a full-standing member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Carleton University. I have been working in the field of addictions and mental health for more than 7 years, where I have developed a deep interest in supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
I provide services to adolescents and adults for a variety of concerns. I work under the supervision of Scott McCleery and Dr. Rebecca Moore.
