Lena-Marie Zangari
RP (Qualifying)
My approach to counselling is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique story. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and authentic therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.
I work from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that many of our thoughts, emotions, and ways of coping develop for understandable reasons. Together, we can explore the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to current challenges while identifying strengths and resources that support meaningful change.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. My work is primarily person-centred, with emotion-focused, narrative, and acceptance-based approaches informing the therapeutic process.
Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I offer a safe space for reflection, exploration, and growth.
I am completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My internship is supervised by Scott McCleery, M.A., R.P., CCC.
