Tracy Decker
M.A., Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Everyone is unique and has the capacity to make positive changes in their lives. I aim to provide a non-judgemental and empathetic space to create warm and compassionate therapeutic relationships. My goal is to assist clients in building on their strengths and develop long-term coping skills to promote insight, growth, self-discovery, and positive change at a pace that feels right for them.
I foster a healing environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and emotions while continuously offering support, respect, and care. I use an integrative and collaborative approach, applying elements of solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. As a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces for over 15 years, I also have a special interest in working with military veterans and their families.
I’m currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and I provide psychotherapy services under the supervision of Scott McCleery.
