Victoria Howran, M.A. Psychology

As a Psychometrist, I primarily work with children and adolescents, conducting psychoeducational assessments in a supportive and welcoming environment. I understand that assessments can feel overwhelming for both children and their families, and I strive to help everyone feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout the process.

I have a genuine interest in understanding how children think, learn, and process information. Working under the supervision of a registered psychologist, I strive to ensure assessments are completed thoroughly and accurately, providing meaningful information to support each child’s growth, learning, and success.

My experience includes conducting educational and psychoeducational assessments, providing educational support to neurotypical and neurodiverse students, and supporting youth in a live-in treatment centre. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of child development, learning differences, and the importance of recognizing and building on each child’s unique strengths.

I am committed to ongoing professional development, continually seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills to better support the children and families I work with.
